Custom search field

This extremly simple UWA widget is converted from the oldest Netvibes widget I have written with the Mini API.

It enables you to display a field to search in any engine you want, like Google or your preferred website’s engine.

To add a new engine, display the configuration mode then enter the name and URL of the search engine. In the URL, use the string %q to locate the place where the query should be put. For example for Google use the URL http://www.google.com/search?q=%q, that will give you for the query iphone : http://www.google.com/search?q=iphone

This widget is available in English and French.

To use this widget on the different supported plateforms (Netvibes, IGoogle, Vista sidebar, Apple dashboard, Opera), go to its Netvibes ecosystem page.
